Million March Violence: 5 Held

The police arrested 5 Telangana leaders who were involved in the Million March violence on Tank Bund On March 10th.

The city police on Saturday revealed that it has taken in 3 leaders from Telangana region for the damage caused to the statues on Tank Bund during the Million March on March 10th.

The police said that special teams of CCS, Hyderabad City Police, took TVS General Secretary (Karimnagar district) Kota Srinivas Goud, TVS Organising Secretary (Warangal) Thumu Naveen Yadav and TSJAC president of Karimnagar district Ghanagoni Kranthi Goud for their involvement in damaging statues, burning of police vehicles and damaging videos cameras of press and electronic media during the violence that erupted in the Million March.

The accused were remanded to judicial custody.

The CCS sleuths also arrested TRSV Karimnagar district President Siddam Venu and TVS Adilabad East President Harish Goud.

The cases are under investigations, the police said.
