5,544 Contract Employees In Telangana Regularised

With the State government issuing a circular regularising their jobs, the dream of thousands of contract employees in Telangana came to fulfillment today.

With the State government issuing a circular regularising their jobs, the dream of thousands of contract employees in Telangana came to fulfillment today.

Immediately upon inaugurating the new Secretariat complex and occupying his chambers there, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao signed on the file regularising the contract employees.

According to officials, a total of 5,544 contract employees working in 40 departments will be regularised with the decision of the State government.

2,909 of the 5,544 contract employees are junior lecturers, 184 are vocational lecturers, 390 are polytechnic lecturers, 270 are degree lecturers, 837 are health assistants and 179 are lab technicians.

Finance Minister Harish Rao conveyed his thanks to the Chief Minister for taking the decision, and also congratulated the contract employees.
