The Balanagar police on Friday busted a rave party at a popular resort in Shamirpet in Medchal district and arrested eleven persons including seven doctors.
According to Shamirpet Circle Inspector (CI) Naveen Reddy, the Balanagar SOT police, based on a tip-off, raided the Celebrity Resort in Shamirpet and arrested seven doctors and four others.
All the doctors belong to Gajwel, and of the other four, three belong to Mumbai and one is from Hyderabad.
Four girls, including one from Mumbai, were rescued in the raid.
All the accused have been sent to the Shamirpet police station for follow-up action.
As the accused are well-known persons, the police declined to disclose their names.
With the New Year around the corner, the police have stepped up security measures, and have intensified vigilance on drug peddlers and other anti-social activities.
