Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao today said that he was happy to finally announce some good news on the coronavirus front. He said that 11 persons in Telangana who had tested positive earlier were now negative.
"It is really heartening news, and our government's measures are giving good results," the minister said.
Rao also said that some 350 beds were ready at the King Koti Hospital to treat coronavirus cases. In addition to this, another four hospitals would be made available for the same purpose, he said.
He also said that the GHMC was offering free meals in 50 Annapurna canteens including 30,000 for lunch and 7,500 for dinner, to help the poor.
KTR also said that as Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had already warned, strict measures would be taken against violators of the lockdown. The night curfew and the lockdown was for public safety, and nobody should come out in the nights, he said.
