The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

Sir this is khaja bee of resisdent at H.NO.3-4-16/1 Rajandra nagar,ramanthapur,of landmark kakatiya school water tank.sir there is a problem of overflow of mainwall drainage infront of my house.Due to which people of our area are facing a lot of problems like bad smell and etc.so,please we are requesting you all to take a immediate action regarding this issue.thank you sir.

Street light at my residence 9-1-127/A/16/11, Prashanth Nagar Langar House , HYD left side is not working for the last three months and the other side ( Right) is being used by my neighbors by turning to their first floor side as their own by keeping the road side dark. this matter was brought twice to the notice of the department but, no action has been taken so far.

Sir my self Chandra mohan resident of 1-3-176/28 Talla basthi kavadiguda near govt school Hyderabad from 2 months street light is not coming now ganesh immersion is there and some out sider people drinking and shouting till midnight we suffering from many problems and plz erection an additional street light with pole we are requesting authorities kindly to do as soon as possible for we can celebrate ganesh immersion and be safe with outsiders

We are staying in safilguda suryanagar road number 1,,in our line garbage collector is not comming regularly,he s comming twice or once in a week,,,,,,,,we are suffering with dogs and cats and mosquitos ,. Since last six months we are suffering the same,,,please.take necessary action to solve our problem

My house is located in vivekanandapuran, behind Bhavan college. My house number is 34-116/3 on road number 9.The municipal workers collect the garbage from the colony and dump it across my house. In the rain the stench coming from the garbage pile is very annoying plus during this difficult times when Corona has made life difficult, unhygenic condition can worsen the situation. Can someone look into this?

Please be advise that im writing This complain in behalf of my neighbor n me .

In from of our house drain is full n flowing due to this inconvenience we are unable to go out , Drain smell & There are lot of mosquito in our area .

Last time with our own money we made our own roads . And this time the ghmc road just spoiled the roads they dint even make Good roads in Neredmet they took one month for making road the road surface is uneven and not properly done . I live on street no.2 chanakyapuri, Malkajgiri next to railway station. The street lights are out and its quite dark with vehicles parked on the street and people bypassing the railway gate drivethrough the backroads to get on the otherside and is not safe for them and not profitable for the residents if our vehicles are damaged by them.There had been few antisocial deeds caught by locals and handed iover to police in the past and this darkeness surely will crave someones hunger for a sinister act with criminal intent. Please rectify the problem asap.

I am having an issue with the Municipality garbage collection. Per floor / house they are charging 100rs per month in kphb temple bus stop area. In the same area, the next lane other municipality people are collecting 70rs. What is that Rammohan is doing. During this lockdown time we don't have proper salaries also. N these people are fighting with us. Please fix one amount to all to avoid such discrepancies.

Dear Sir

Beside Ho.No.8-5-3/2, Old Bowenpally, lot of construction activity is going on without following GHMC guidelines. Causing lot o fdisturbance to the tenants loving there. Dumping all the construction material on the road and when requested them to removeand clear way for vehicles, are thretening and abusing women to complain at GHMC. Request you to kindly visit the area and take the needful action

I am Dr haswitha residing in h.no- 3-9-597/1, road no:2, Sri balaji nagar, mansoorabad. The drainage has been overflowing since 15 days and no action was taken even after complaining to higher authorities. As a doctor I know about the health problems which will occur due to flies and smell coming from that. It is very difficult to step out of the home due to the drainage. I am requesting the ghmc to clear this issue permanently as it is becoming very difficult for the residents. I hope this problem will clear as soon as possible.
