Khadim-Ul-Hujjaj Application Details

The A P State Haj Committee on Friday called for the submission of applications for the selection of Khadim-ul-Hujjaj (Haj volunteers) for the Haj Season 2011.

Addressing media persons, Haj Committee Chairman Khaleeluddin Ahmed said that the applicants must be male Muslim government servants in the age group of 25-50 years.

He said that the applicants must have performed Haj at least once, and that preference would be given to the fresh candidates.

Khaleeluddin Ahmed added that the applicants must be well versed in Arabic and have sound knowledge on Haj Affairs.

The Haj Committee Chairman added that the filled applications, accompanied by 2 recent passport size photographs and photocopies of all the required documents should reach the Haj Committee before April 11, 2011. He said that the applications received after the due date would be rejected. "The candidates will have to produce originals at the time of the interview," he added.

The Chairman also said that the candidates would be selected region wise, based on their place of work.

The selections are subject to the approval of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. As per the directions of the Ministry of External Affairs, 15% of the Khadim-ul-Hujjaj will be reserved for the employees of the A P State Haj Committee and the A P State Wakf Board.

Application forms and other details are available at the office of the A P State Haj Committee, located on the 2nd floor of Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad, on all working days during office hours.
