Several prominent politicians, including Telugu Desam Party leader Nandamuri Balakrishna, met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Hyderabad to address the "Nava Bharatha Yuva Bheri" rally at L B Stadium on Sunday.
Besides Balakrishna, several film personalities and leaders called on Modi at Park Hyatt. They include Krishnam Raju, Mohan Babu, Allu Aravind, Raghavendra Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Murali Mohan, C Kalyan, Manchu Vishnu Kumar, Lakshmi Prasanna, Suman, Ramanaidu, Daggubati Rana, Daggubati Suresh, Dil Raju and Keeravani.
Others who met Modi include K Padmanabiah (former Union Home Secretary), V Rama Rao (former Governor of Sikkim), Gopinath Reddy (former DGP), K Somaraju (chairman of Care Hospitals), R Krishnaiah (AP Backward Class Welfare Association) and Manda Krishna Madiga (MRPS).
"The discussions covered a wide area of topics, ranging from the current political situation in Andhra Pradesh, to issues facing various sections of the society in Andhra Pradesh," said a statement from the BJP.
"I had an exclusive opportunity to meet w Mr @narendramodi and share some insights abt our state. May The Lord bless him to be our next PM," Mohan Babu tweeted later.
