Tension mounted in some parts of the Old City, as police and GHMC personnel tried to seize live stock that was bought on the account of Bakrid which is on October 27.
Rein Bazar in Old City saw BJP activists and the locals trying to stop vehicles which were carrying cattle. Stones were thrown at the GHMC vehicles, which seized cattle which were being sold there. Police rushed to the spot in order to bring down the tension, and were partly successful in it.
Trouble also broke out in Bada Bazaar, when the GHMC and the police prevented a person from selling cattle. There was eventually a clash between two groups, with protestors shouting slogans against the GHMC and polce personnel.
Senior police officials and additional police forces were rushed to the spot in order to pacify the crowd.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma said that according to the AP Prohibition of Cow Slaughter & Animal Preservation Act, 1977, fitness tests must be conducted on the cattle, with help of GHMC officials, the police and veterinary doctors.
Meanwhile, Charminar MIM legislator Ahmed Pasha Quadri threatened the police that he would protest against their action, which he said was not justified. The GHMC and police officials left the area, after the MLA promised to shift the cattle to another location.

I think we slaught many other animal except cow to fulfil various other nessecity.we muslim eat beef.Inspite of this the number of cows in the world is probaly the highest.I think its blessing of ALLAH.So I request my nomuslims brothers not brother any more about this.Also request them to think economical issues of india depending on cow.what will you do with old or dead cow? Burry it or fell into river.Its totally misuse of a natural resoures and also a great loss to indian economy.A fermer sells his cow only when he feels that his cows are not any more usefull to him.Then we take it for meat.If we does not do this .what will happen?will a fermer provide enough food or took care any more of those useless animals.His death is inevitable.will govornment start a mid day meal programme for cow also or raise a fund for those animal welfare?So do not try to hurt the muslim value,moral and sentiment?Think realistically.
No community can PROSPER or have PEACE as Long as they SLAUGHTER Innocent Helpless Mute Animals like in this case here. Such People who Kill Cattle, Camels shall ROT in this Life and ever and shall have no PEACE.
If human population can be handled so can cows be, also dear fellows, just for milk, u tie/ slaughter a male calf and make cow which is holy a machine of milk! can i tie ur mother and make milk of her? a new brand? ha? wtf!!!!!
Cattle Breed in India is not for meat. Its purely for Agriculture. But in Western Countries specific Breed of Cows are developed for meat. These Breeds are suitable for consumption. 80 percent of Farmers in our Country rely on Cattle for Agriculture. Only 20 percent of Rich farmers can affors Tractors. So if Cow population decreases it effects the farmer and then it down the line there is Production of grains decreases and their prices will increase.
Apart from that the most of the Cows slaughtered just look healthy but are not infact. If they are carrying the MAD COW Diease FATAL Protein... and if humans consume this .. it can lead to infection and with in 13 months death is for sure. This MAD COW diease has no cure by the way.
Solution for this problem : New breed of Cows have to be developed which are purely for meat. This is how its done in countries like Australia, US, UK, Germany.. etc..
Friends we developed Broiler Chicken, and many good breeds for Sheep which are good for meat. But in India cows for good meat are not developed.
After all its for the good health for everyone.
So friends lets us not fight but think of solutions.
And at last about these Politicians who want us to fight for there Votes. They are all rich how? they always move in imported cars and live in big mansions.. why?
because we all dont use our brains... we just fight...
Moral : Respect every religion as every religion is beautiful... and teach these politicians a good leason.
