To withstand the aftermath of the resignation of erstwhile Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy chose a
large cabinet, so as to leave lesser heavyweights unsatisfied and running into the arms of the rebel, and also to include representations from as many constituencies as possible.
