Brother of former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and Agriculture Minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy on Thursday called on former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at the latter's residence in Jubilee Hills.
This was the first meeting of the two after YSV was sworn in as minister in the cabinet of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. He was accompanied by his wife.
Talking to media persons, YSV described the visit as a "courtesy" call, and denied reports which appeared in a section of media that he and his family had differences over his joining the cabinet.
He termed the media reports as baseless and far from truth.
"I have no differences with Jagan. Ours is a united family," YSV stated.
When the reporters asked about political developments, he said they had not discussed any political issue in the meeting.
When the minister was boarding his car after the meeting, loyalists of Jaganmohan Reddy shouted slogans against him, and demanded that he resign from his post.
