"YCP's Popularity Making TRS Jittery"
"Instead of targeting Congress, which is the stumbling block to Telangana, they have been spreading falsehoods against us," said YSRCP's official spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao.

Brushing aside the remarks of TRS leaders, YSR Congress has said that K Chandrasekhar Rao has been working in tandem with the Centre in delaying the Telangana issue.
"We condemn the statements of KCR and KTR who have been passing uncharitable remarks against YSRC and Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Instead of targeting Congress, which is the stumbling block to Telangana, they have been spreading falsehoods against us," the party's official spokesperson, Gattu Ramachandra Rao told reporters here on Saturday.
"The mutual blame game between Congress and TRS seems to be a drama, as the two are all set to merge. They have been criticising each other in the open but have a tacit understanding", he said.
"K Chandrasekhar Rao suddenly vanishes from very important situations, and surfaces at the most unlikely places to level wild allegations and give false promises. This has been the style of functioning of TRS," he said.
Congress has been using TRS, and some MPs like Undavalli, to wriggle out of difficult situations by controlling their aggression and even rivalry, accused Rao.
"KTR and KCR have been saying repeatedly that YSR, at a meeting in Nandyal, had spoken against Telangana. What they are propagating is a distorted version. He spoke against KCR, but not against Telangana. And KCR is not Telangana," the spokesperson said.
"YSR had always been very generous in its grants to Telangana. Whether it be irrigation, power, pensions, Aarogyasri or any other welfare scheme, Telangana had been given the lion's share. KCR could not raise the issue of allocations to Telangana when TDP had been in power," he said.
In a democratic country, any leader can hold a meeting at any place, but TRS played a dirty game at Mahbubabad, and created an unruly situation to stop Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleged Ramachandra Rao.
"TRS leaders have been speaking about the placard our leader had been holding while he was a Congress MP, which has no validity as YSRCP has clearly told its stand on Telangana issue. We did not field candidates against those who resigned for Telangana, but TRS did not reciprocate and pitted a candidate against Konda Surekha. This shows that TRS is morally corrupt," he said.
KCR, who wants to project himself as champion of Telangana, has passed some disparaging remarks on the 610 GO. TRS leaders are jittery due to the growing popularity of YSRCP, and are making false allegations to gain political mileage, he said. (INN)
