Actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan today made comments over his association with the BJP.
Speaking to mediapersons at Tirupati today, Kalyan said that he had never drifted away from the saffron party, and was very much continuing his association with it.
Kalyan also said that the ruling YSRCP leaders should thank him as he hadn't contested the elections in alliance with the BJP and the TDP, which helped the YSRCP come to power.
He said that the YSRCP leaders should thank him with folded hands for his help.
He also asserted that he had opposed them on the issue of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
Kalyan also alleged that the State government was wasting time by levelling allegations on the failures of the previous government, instead of focusing on the problems being faced by the people.
