Vijayamma Elected As YSRC Legislature Party Leader

The newly-elected MLAs of the YSR Congress unanimously elect Vijayamma as the leader of the YSRC Legislature Party.

The newly-elected MLAs of the YSR Congress Party, on Thursday, unanimously elected party honorary president and Pulivendula MLA Y S Vijayamma as the leader of the YSR Congress Legislature Party.

After electing Vijayamma, the party MLAs, who met at Lotus Pond, also discussed the strategy to be adopted over their future course of action. The MLAs have decided to take their oaths of office on Friday at speaker Nadendla Manohar's chamber. The MLAs will also urge the speaker to allot a room for the YSR Congress in the Assembly premises.

The meeting was attended by all 17 MLAs, as well as Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy. (INN)
