The police arrested two young men who had come to meet Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and submit a memorandum, near Pragathi Bhavan today.
The youngsters, who had qualified in the Group II examination, wanted to meet the CM and demand that the state government render justice to them as they were deprived of government jobs due to an inordinate delay of two years in the recruitment process on account of court cases.
The candidates were trying to urge the state government to appoint an Advocate-General to resolve the court cases at the earliest.
They were arrested for their protests violating the law.
