Youth Congress Leaders Uproot TRS Flexis, Banners

Activists of the Telangana Youth Congress today removed the flexis put up by TRS leaders around the statue of Indira Gandhi at Necklace Road.
Hyderabad | 25th October 2021
Activists of the Youth Congress today removed the flexis put up by TRS leaders around the statue of Indira Gandhi at Necklace Road to promote their plenary being held today.

However, when the activists tried to throw the banners into the Hussain Sagar lake, they were stopped by the local police.

The incident led to a violent situation in the area for some time. The activists entered into an argument with the police, and that led to the police eventually arresting Telangana Youth Congress president Sivasena Reddy and other leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy asked the TRS leaders how they could put up their party banners around the statues of the national leaders of the Congress.

He demanded that the police and the GHMC officials remove the banners and the flexis of the TRS immediately.
