YSR Congress Party honorary president Y S Vijayamma will visit the cyclone-affected areas of Srikakulam district on Wednesday.

Vijayamma will visit Palana and Ichchapuram assembly segments of Srikakulam district, which were hit by Cyclone Phailin.

Standing crops worth several crores were damaged in these areas. Vijayamaa, along with other YSRCP leaders, will assess the damages to make a representation to the state and Centre seeking compensation. (INN)
