The CBI Special Court permitted YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to visit Idupulapaya in Kadapa district for 2 days.
While permitting Jagan to visit Idupulapaya on October 1 and 2, the CBI Court refused his request to let him visit Guntur on October 4.
In a petition filed on September 26, Jagan sought the court's permission to visit Idupulapaya, the resting place of his late father and former Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, on October 1 and 2nd and also to participate in a Samaikyandhra agitation by farmers on October 4, in Guntur.
However, the CBI, which filed its counter plea on Monday, opposed Jagan's petition and feared that he might influence the witnesses and tamper with evidence if allowed to leave Hyderabad.
After hearing the arguments and counter arguments, the CBI court permitted Jagan to go to Idupulapaya while rejecting his request to visit Guntur. (INN)
