Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare Minister S Savita took everyone by surprise at an event to flag off newly sanctioned APSRTC buses at the Penukonda bus stand.
Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare Minister S Savita today flagged off the newly sanctioned APSRTC buses at the Penukonda bus stand.
On the occasion, she also drove a bus by herself.
The APSRTC officials, staff, and party rank and file present at the location were all surprised when the minister got into the driver's cabin, held the steering wheel and started to drive the bus.
Speaking to media persons later, Savita alleged that the previous YSRCP government had borrowed Rs 10,000 crore but did not spend a single rupee on infrastructure, and that no new buses had been purchased in the previous government. She said that after the coalition government came to power, 400 buses had been purchased.
APSRTC RM Madhusudhan, corporation staff, and TDP leaders and activists participated in the event.
