The SIT chief also said that Ashok Dakavaram would be captured whether he was in Amaravathi or in America.
Hyderabad | 7th March 2019
Special Investigation Team incharge Stephen Ravindra, IPS, today said that the investigation into the data theft case would be conducted transparently and impartially.

Speaking to mediapersons, the West Zone Inspector General said that the investigation was going on in both the Hyderabad and the Cyberabad police commissionerates. He said that the SIT had analysed thoroughly the incriminating evidence collected so far in the case, and that the culprits would be brought before the people soon. He said that Ashok Dakavaram would be captured whether he was in Amaravathi or in America, and that he would be interrogated and produced before a court after a prima facie case was established.

He also said that the SIT would inform the media about the progress of the investigation regularly.

Ravindra said that data relating to Telangana voters too had been discovered in the offices of IT Grids, and it was not clear how that data ended up with the company and what it was doing with it. He also said that the police had already written letters to the Amazon and Google for more information about the data stored on the two companies' servers by IT Grids.
