Breaking his silence after a long period, BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao today expressed confidence that his party would return to power in Telangana.
"Our government will come back to power. We are 100% confident of victory in the next elections," he said.
KCR was interacting with the BRS leaders of the Palakurthy constituency at his farmhouse in Erravelli in Siddipet district.
Speaking on the occasion, KCR said that people had now understood what they had lost when they voted the BRS out.
"It has been 11 months since the new government came to power, and the people of the State have now understood what they have lost. The government has to protect everyone. It has to build and sustain the society. Instead, the ruling Congress's leaders speak madly about demolition. Power was not given to them to demolish houses, but to build them. However, the BRS will fight on behalf of the people. I am not afraid of arrests, and neither is anyone in the BRS. We will go to jail any number of times for the people," he said.
