We Are Committed To Form Telangana: PM

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Tuesday reiterated that his government is committed to the formation of Telangana.

Speaking to media persons after participating in an all-party meeting convened by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, the Prime Minister said, "We are committed to the formation of Telangana."

He also appealed to the political parties to cooperate in the smooth functioning of the Parliament and make best use of the time during the Parliament's short winter session.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal told reporters that several parties have agreed to bring the Telangana Bill during the winter session, and that therefore, it would be tabled soon. (INN)
