Was ED Once Impure And Is Now Sacred, Sridhar Babu Asks KTR
The minister alleged that BRS leaders had in the past slammed the ED's cases against their leaders, but were now endorsing the case against Revanth Reddy.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu today asked K T Rama Rao if the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which the latter's BRS had once vilified as corrupt and oppressive, had now suddenly become a paragon of virtue in their eyes.
He pointed out that the same investigative agency that the BRS was now praising for naming CM Revanth Reddy in the National Herald chargesheet had previously registered a case against K Kavitha which had then provoked a sharp blowback from that party, and demanded clarity from him.
"Are they now justifying politically motivated and baseless cases being filed without evidence?" Babu asked.
The minister alleged that BRS leaders' endorsement of the ED's unlawful cases against Congress leaders - clearly intended to demoralise the Congress cadre - exposed a covert alliance with the BJP.
He also accused the BRS of inflicting untold suffering on the State for a decade when it ruled. He said that the party, through undemocratic and unconstitutional means, had plunged a once-prosperous State into financial turmoil, and had no moral right to criticise the Congress. Telangana's people were only now beginning to move past that dark chapter, he said.
He also said that unlike the BRS, the Congress government under Revanth Reddy proactively engaged with the Union government, resulting in progress on critical projects like the elevated corridor from Secunderabad to Shamirpet, the Coach Factory in Kazipet and the NIMZ in Zaheerabad.
Babu also alleged that BRS leaders had neither the credibility nor the authority to speak about Rahul Gandhi, under whose leadership the Congress was striving hard to preserve democracy and the spirit of the Constitution. He also said that their criticisms stemmed from their inability to accept the growing popularity of the people-centric governance under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
