Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today said that Vikarabad district would see major growth and development under the rule of the TRS.
Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today participated in some developmental programs in the state's Vikarabad district.
She laid the foundation stone for a cooperative society building, a godown and some other structures at Kulkacharla village near the district's Parigi town.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister asked the officials concerned to ensure that the ongoing developmental works in the district be completed as soon as possible.
"Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is a leader who supports development. He has been providing funds to Vikarabad to develop the region. Rs 50 lakh will be spent for society buildings, Rs 1.50 crore for the establishment of godown structures, and Rs 80 lakh for a rice mill. Under the rule of the TRS government and due to the vision of our CM, the district will see major growth and development," she added.
Reddy then claimed that the towns, as well as the villages of Telangana, were all being developed by the TRS government. She lauded the CM for providing "adequate funds" for the same.
Yesterday, the minister had inaugurated the recently-constructed free diagnostic centre at the Vikrarabad Hospital as well.
In its bid to make healthcare more accessible to a larger number of people, the Telangana government has set up similar centres in the Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Jangaon, Mulugu, Mahaboobabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jagtial, Siddipet, Nalgonda, Khammam, Sircilla, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Adilabad, Gadwal and Asifabad districts too.
