The Telangana marketing department is all set to start its Mana Kooragayalu vegetable outlets at the Metro stations between Paradise and Miyapur in the city.
To start with the outlets will be set up at 11 stations from the second week of June, and more such outlets will come up later.
The outlets will be convenient for Metro passengers who would like to buy vegetables on their way home.
According to Marketing Department General Manager Y J Padma Harsha, the department is running 56 such vegetable outlets in the capital already, and plans are afoot to start another 30 to 40 such outlets in the city by the end of July.
