Elaborate security arrangements are being made for the session of the state Legislative Assembly to be held from December 12.
Talking to reporters after attending a review meeting with Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar in the Assembly premises on Monday, city Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma said that like for previous sessions, multi-tier security arrangements would be made for the session.
He said that about 900 personnel would be deployed, and that precautions were being taken for the smooth conduct of the special session from December 12.
He added that prohibitory orders would be enforced in the radius of the Assembly building, and that no protest or agitations would be allowed there.
Besides Anurag Sharma, several senior officials were also present in the Speaker's review meeting. (INN)
