Lagadapati is all set for his hunger strike for the cause of Samaikyandhra. He spoke at length to the media about the glory of Andhra Pradesh. TRS leaders were quick to dismiss this as a gimmick and accused Lagadapati of hiring goons en masse to come to Hyderabad.
Some others away from the capital have already begun the effort, this morning. At Vijayawada, there is a fast-unto-death strike by TDP MLAs, and at Andhra University, there’s one by students, some of who have even been hospitalized.
Dharma Rao, Botsa Satanarayana and Sabitha Indra Reddy were among those who met the CM today to discuss the political situation in the state. And Geeta Reddy has requested MLAs to cease their revolt and stay united, and agree with the party high command’s decision.
