Understood Politics Only After Losing: Jayasudha

The yesteryear actress alleged genuine workers were not encouraged in the Party, which led to its dismal performance, especially in the GHMC limits.

Former MLA Jayasudha on Sunday stated that she learnt politics only after facing defeat in the recent elections.

Speaking to media persons after participating in the review meeting conducted by TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah at Gandhi Bhavan, the yesteryear star said that she was just an actress when she contested the polls in 2009. However, she understood the real politics only after losing the 2014 elections.

She claimed that she lost the 2014 elections due to internal differences in the Party.

She alleged that genuine workers were not encouraged in the Party, which led to the Party's dismal performance, especially in the GHMC limits. (INN)
