The Telangana police have arrested two more suspects in the EAMCET-2 (medical) paper leak case.
The arrested are Gudipalli Chandra Shekhar Reddy (37) of Jogipet, Medak district, and Shaik Shakeera (29) of Motinagar, Kalyan Nagar Phase-III, Hyderabad, a native of the Prakasam distict in Andhra Pradesh.
The CID police said that Reddy had taken money to sell the paper to four students and Shaik Shakeera to two students. On the night of July 7, 2016, all the six students were taken to Kolkata by air by Reddy and three other brokers. At Kolkata, the students were made to practice with two leaked EAMCET-2 question papers in a hotel room, and later all the students returned to Hyderabad on the night of July 8 by air.
Reddy had collected signed blank cheques and copies of the SSC and Intermediate certificates of the six students and given them to a broker, who conducted the practice camp in a hotel room at Kolkata.
Efforts are on to apprehend the other brokers accused of the question paper leakage, the police said.
