Two Inter-State Day Robbers Arrested, Loot Seized
The police today arrested two inter-state house-burglars and recovered 94 tolas of gold ornaments, two mobiles and a two-wheeler, worth Rs 32 lakh cumulatively.
The Rachakonda police today apprehended two inter-state house-burglars and recovered 94 tolas of gold ornaments, two mobile phones and one TVS Wego two-wheeler, worth Rs 32 lakh cumulatively, from their possession.
The accused were identified as Bharath Bushan Bansal, 52, of Jhansi, UP East, and Mathura Prasad, 42, of Gwalior district in Madhya Pradesh.
After noticing a series of daylight house burglaries in January, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat formed three teams of CCS sleuths to investigate them. The teams verified CCTV footage in a 55-65 square km area and arrested the accused at Bade Masjid, Old Hayathnagar Road, along with a TVS Wego with a fake reg no AP09 AR7713 and the stolen property.
