The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has entered the World Book of Records.
The London-based organization honours and catalogues extraordinary records across the world, and has certified the TTD for temple administration on five major numbers - number of footfalls to the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara Swamy, number of tonsures performed, number of laddus prepared, number of servings of annaprasadam, and hassle-free management of the serpentine queues.
On behalf of the WBR, its Indian wing President Santhosh Shukla and Joint Secretary Ullaji handed over the certificate to the TTD Chairman Y V Subba Reddy in Tirumala on Saturday evening.
