The TSRTC has arranged 565 special buses for the convenience of people who want to visit the Hussain Sagar lake from far off areas of the city to witness the immersion of Ganesh idols on September 19.
The buses will drop the devotees at Tank Bund from different parts of the city.
The Executive Director of the corporation Venkateswarlu added that buses from the Tank Bund area back to the rest of the city would be available till the midnight of Sunday.
He said that the TSRTC staff would work from the police control room to better handle navigation through the traffic, and for quicker resolution of problems including the breakdown of vehicles and other kinds of repairs.
The Hyderabad Metro Rail is also extending its services on September 19. Instead of ending services at 10.15 pm on that day, it is extending them to 1 am on September 20, which means all trains will reach their terminating stations by about 2 am.
