TSRTC MD V C Sajjanar today lashed out at fans of the show Bigg Boss for "creating a ruckus in the city and damaging six TSRTC buses".
He said that madness resorted to in the name of affection was not good for society.
Sajjanar said that some people had attacked RTC buses on Sunday night and that the mirrors of six buses were damaged in their attack.
He posted photos of the buses being destroyed on Twitter.
He said that TSRTC buses were the property of the people and that it was the responsibility of everyone to protect the buses. He also vowed that those responsible for the incident would not be spared.
The Bigg Boss 7 finale winners were selected at Annapurna Studios in Krishnanagar on Sunday night. A large number of Bigg Boss fans and supporters of several contestants gathered there during the night. In the process, some youngsters raised slogans in support of their favourite contestants. That led to an atmosphere of conflict in the area. Some youths pelted stones at onlookers, and also attacked RTC buses causing the destruction of the windows of six buses.
RTC officials lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police station, demanding stern action against the vandals as per the law. The police registered an FIR based on the complaint.
