Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today expressed anguish over Telangana Political JAC chairman M Kodandaram's remarks against the creation of new districts in Telangana.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Rao rhetorically asked Kodandaram whether the creation of new districts was a mistake, and asked him to recommed a better solution to the problems being faced by the Administration.
"Why didn't Kodandaram give any suggestions to the government when the new districts were being created?" he asked.
He also pointed out that Kodandaram did not attend the all-Party meeting even though the government invited him.
The minister reiterated that the State government created new districts only to ease administration and implement welfare schemes.
