Cong MLA Asks KCR To Honour Merger Promise

Congress MLA Nandeshwar Goud on Friday asked TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao to honour the promise of merging his party into the Congress after the formation of Telangana.

Speaking to media persons, Goud said that the merger of TRS and Congress is essential to ensure the speedy development of the Telangana state. He thanked AICC president Sonia Gandhi for granting statehood for the Telangana region. He said that Sonia Gandhi had turned the 60-year-old dream of the Telangana state into a reality, and that the people of Telangana would remain indebted to her throughout their lives for her gift.
