TRS Pockets All Three MLC Seats, KCR Happy
Patnam Mahender Reddy, Chinnappa Reddy and P Srinivas Reddy won the MLC seats under the local authorities quota from the Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda and Warangal segments.

The TRS today won all the three MLC seats under the local authorities quota in the recent by-elections.
Patnam Mahender Reddy, Chinnappa Reddy and P Srinivas Reddy, all TRS candidates, won the MLC elections from the Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda and Warangal segments.
The counting of the votes began at 8 am and the results were announced by EC officials shortly. Mahender Reddy got a 244-vote majority over Congress candidate Prathap Reddy, Chinnappa Reddy got a 226-vote majority over Congress nominee Komatireddy Lakshmi Reddy, and P Srinivas Reddy defeated Venkatram Reddy by an 825-vote majority.
TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed happiness over the victory of the TRS candidates. He congratulated the winners, and also appreciated the ministers, MPs, MLAs and other leaders who worked for the victory of the TRS members in the elections.
