When repeated orders by the Speaker for 15 TRS MLAs to leave the House went unheeded, said MLAs, who had surrounded the Speaker's podium, had to be removed bodily from the premises.
As always, it was chaos that reigned over the State Legislative Assembly today, as TRS MLAs raised ruckus in the House with the demand that a Telangana motion be passed in the assembly. When Speaker N Manohar disallowed the motion, as the session was organised to pass the state budget for the fiscal year 2013-14, several MLAs surrounded the podium, shouting pro-Telangana slogans at the top of their lungs.
The speaker adjourned the House, and repeatedly implored the MLAs to get back to their seats as the budget needs to be presented. When the House re-assembled, the situation was not much better.
Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao was hence instructed to make a motion for the expulsion of 15 MLAs from the House, for a day, which was passed. However, repeated orders by the Speaker for the MLAs to leave went unheeded, following which said MLAs had to be removed bodily from the premises.
This caused BJP and CPI members to stage a walk-out.
