Telangana BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar today said that the TRS had
won the recently-concluded graduates' constituencies' elections with the support of the state's government employees and educated youth, and that this had proved the "pro-employee" temperament of the party.
He made these remarks during a meeting with a team of employee associations' leaders.
The minister, who was actively involved in the TRS' campaign and preparations for the elections, congratulated the other ministers, MLAs, MLCs and local leaders of the party for the win, and thanked them for their efforts. He also praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's planning for the same.
Talking about the victory, Kamalakar said that the development programs and welfare schemes, which had been continued despite the adverse effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on Telangana's economy, had been the reason that the voters had supported the TRS' candidates.
The minister then assured the employees that he would personally bring up the issues being faced by them with the CM, who, he claimed, was ready to resolve the same.
Saying that the TRS regime was one that worked for the people, he also offered to provide all the support required by the employees, and said that the government would continue to work for their welfare.
It seems like the employees in the state will finally be able to get their demand for a revised PRC after the EC today
issued a letter to the TRS government allowing it to announce the same.
