TRS Policy Responsible For Farmers' Suicides: BJP

BJP floor leader in the Telangana Assembly Dr K Lakshman today alleged that the TRS government's policy was responsible for the suicides of the farmers in the State.

The Telangana BJP MLAs and MLC today came to the Assembly in a rally from Nizam College, protesting the suicides of the farmers.

During the rally, they raised slogans demanding that the State government resolve the problems of the farmers.

Speaking to the media, Lakshman said that they would raise the farmers' suicides issue in the Assembly and would fight for justice to the distressed farmers.

The Party president G Kishan Reddy said that the people of the State were unhappy at the functioning of the government. He said that the government should take responsibility for the farmers' suicides.

When the BJP legislators arrived near the Assembly, the police prevented them from going in a rally into the Assembly premises. However, after some exchanges, the party MLAs were allowed inside.
