BJP floor leader Dr K Lakshman on Friday said that the TRS government should present a realistic budget for 2015-16.
Speaking to media persons, Lakshman said that the state government had not spent even 40% of the budget allocations for the year 2014-15. Therefore, instead of having a Rs 1 lakh-crore plus budget, the government should have a realistic approach to the annual budget.
He also alleged that the TRS government had failed to implement the major promises that it had made to the people during the elections.
He said that none of the welfare schemes announced in the last budget was properly implemented.
Lakshman informed that the BJP legislators would come in a rally from the GHMC office to the Assembly to attend the budget session in order to highlight the indiscriminate collection of Property Tax by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. (INN)
