Sangareddy MLA and Congress leader Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy today claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had been using money and the police during every elections, and that the police were allowing the TRS leaders to distribute money and liquor to woo the voters for the upcoming municipal elections, too.
Reddy also claimed that the TRS was threatening the Opposition party leaders by filing false cases against them.
Alleging that the TRS was also giving out misleading data about its performance, Reddy demanded that the State government reveal the details of the development works done by it in the municipalities in the State.
He also said that the State Election Commission should give at least ten days for the filing of nomination papers after the finalization of reservations.
