Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Laksmaiah, said that the TPCC would review over 3,000 legislatives of the Andhra Pradesh Government to replicate them in the Telangana State.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Laksmaiah on Wednesday said that the TPCC would review over 3,000 legislatives of the Andhra Pradesh Government to examine if they could be replicated in the Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, Ponnala said that the TPCC would constitute a committee headed by a retired judge of the Supreme Court, to review the laws of Andhra Pradesh, and as per their relevance and need, they would be replicated in the Telangana State.
He said that the TPCC would submit a report to the Government of Telangana in this regard.
Reacting to the results of the MPTC/ZPTC elections, he said that the results were not relevant to the outcome of the Assembly and the Lok Sabha elections.
He reiterated that the Congress would form the next government in Telangana. (INN)
