Famous Telugu film producer P Rama Rao died in the city due to the deadly coronavirus today.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Continental Hospital.

Rao had tested positive for the virus a couple of days back and was admitted to a hospital after falling ill.

He is the brother of the founder of the Eetaram film production house P Babu Rao.

Rama Rao was the presenter of some of the movies made by his home banner.

A pall of gloom descended on Tollywood following the death of the noted producer.
