Tirupati Package By APTDC

The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department, in association with the private airline carrier, Jet Airways, on Tuesday launched a package tour for a darshan of Lord Balaji. The package is priced at Rs. 9,250 per person.

Launching the package tour at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, Minister For Tourism And Culture Vatti Vasanth Kumar urged the Tourism Commissioner and Jet Airways to look into the possibility of a similar package from New Delhi and Mumbai, so that more devotees can fly to Tirupati for Lord Venkateshwara's darshan.

The package tour includes a Hyderabad-Tirupati-Hyderabad Jet Airways flight ticket, A/C accommodation on twin-sharing basis at Tirupati, transport, food, guide charges and the darshan ticket.

The booking for the package can be done at the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Central Reservation Office (Basheer Bagh), and also at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Besides Lord Balaji's darshan, the package includes a visit to the Srinivasamangapuram temple, the Padmavathiamma temple and Srikalahasti.

There will be no flights on Monday and Tuesday, and hence, no booking on Sundays.
