YSRC To Hold Dharna Over Water Issues

The YSR Congress Party has announced a Maha Dharna on 6 August, in protest against Tirupati's drinking water problems.

YSR Congress MLA from Tirupati B Karunakar Reddy said the state government has failed to solve the drinking water problem of the constituency.

Talking to media persons on Wednesday, B Karunakar Reddy alleged that the government was resorting to discrimination while sanctioning funds to MLAs of parties of the opposition.

He demanded that the government accord top priority to the drinking water problem in the constituency, and said that the YSR Congress Party would organize a Maha Dharna program on 6 August if the government fails to do so. (INN)
