Three Super-Speciality Hospitals Worth Rs 2,679 Crore Sanctioned

The Telangana government has accorded administrative sanction for the construction of three super-speciality TIMS hospitals today.

The Telangana government has accorded administrative sanction for the construction of three super-speciality hospitals - Telangana Institutes of Medical Sciences (TIMS) - at the following places:

1. L B Nagar, Ranga Reddy district - the project will cost Rs 900 crore

2. Sanathnagar, Hyderabad district - the project will cost Rs 882 crore

3. Alwal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district - the project will cost Rs 897 crore

The total cost of the three projects is Rs 2,679 crore.

The tenders for the construction of the hospitals have been approved by the Commissionerate of Tenders, and LOAs have been issued by the R&B department. The successful bidders are:

1. TIMS L B Nagar - Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Rs 668 crore

2. TIMS Sanathnagar - Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd, Rs 667 crore

3. TIMS Alwal - DEC Infrastructure & Projects (India) Pvt Ltd, Rs 669 crore
