Three more positive cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Telangana on Monday, taking the number in the state to 30, after the government declared a complete lockdown till March 31 on Sunday.
According to the reports, the positive cases include a 21-year-old who returned from France, a 30-year-old who returned from London and a 23-year-old who was part of the Karimnagar preachers' group.
As readers know by now, the state witnessed a sudden rise on Sunday in the number when the citizens were under the Janata Curfew. A total of seven cases were reported on Sunday taking the number to 27. And with the three new fresh cases, the numbers have jumped to 30.
So far no death relating to COVID-19 has been reported in Telangana.
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has surged to 415, a spike from the figure of 360 the night before, according to reports released by the union health ministry.
