Telangana Political JAC Chairman M Kodandaram said that the TPJAC was not a political organization, and existed only for the welfare of the Telangana people.
Responding to the criticism by the TRS' leaders over his comments, Telangana Political JAC Chairman M Kodandaram today said that the TPJAC was not a political organization, and existed only for the welfare of the people of the State.
Kodandaram was speaking at a function organised by Adilabad JAC on "Prajala Akansha - Prabhutva Tirutennulu" at Mancherial.
The credit for bringing all political parties under one umbrella during the Telangana agitation went only to the JAC, he said, and added that the organization was now working for the welfare of the people.
Kodandaram also said that he had become popular due to public support, and that he could not deceive the people. Nobody except the people was behind him, he said.
He added that an action plan was being evolved against the Singareni open mines.
"We will fight for development of the State and will follow the path of late K Jayashankar," he vowed.
The Adilabad JAC condemned the remarks of the TRS ministers against Kodandaram.
