Good news for nurses working in various hospitals and medical institutions across Telangana and are not full-fledged government employees. The government is all set to regularize their services soon, to give a fillip to the patient care and offer better health services, according to Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy.
The government is also contemplating recruiting 1,000 more nurses for various government hospitals in the State.
Participating in a program at Gandhi Hospital to mark International Nurses Day, Dr Reddy praised the nurses for their persistent and committed services towards patients. He also called upon them to upgrade their skills by adopting the latest technology and gadgets to offer the best services.
The minister assured them that the government would regularize the services of contract nurses working across the hospitals and health institutions in the State, and also resolve all their outstanding issues.
