TRS MP from Mahabubnagar A P Jithender Reddy today alleged again that neighbouring stata Karnataka was constructing projects in violation of norms.
Talking to reporters on Sunday, the MP said that they had raised the issues in Parliament during the recent Monsoon session.
The TRS MPs would also soon complain to Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharathi against Karnataka for hampering Telangana's interests in irrigation.
He slammed the Telangana TDP leaders for not talking to the BJP leaders to exert pressure on the Centre in this regard.
"If they are committed, the Telangana TDP leaders along with the BJP will impress upon the Union minister the need to prevent such illegal projects," he said.
The MP also said that the TRS government was committed to completing its irrigation projects on time, and would keep pressing the Centre until its problems were resolved.
"We made our voices heard in Parliament with regard to the bifurcation of the High Court and the officials amongst the two States," he said.
Reddy also said that they would urge Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to allocate a separate bogie in trains for senior citizens.
