Three children aged below 10 years drowned in a pond dug for the construction of an apartment complex at Shadnagar in Ranga Reddy district.

Three children aged below 10 years drowned in a pond dug for the construction of an apartment complex at Shadnagar in Ranga Reddy district on Monday.

Police said that the deceased were identified as Akshit Goud, Farid and Fareez.

They drowned in the pond when they ventured to go fishing in it.

Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and retrieved the bodies from the tank.

A case has been booked.
